Hanhart Panda
Robustheit, Zuverlässigkeit und Ablesbarkeit. Nach diesen drei Kriterien baut Hanhart ab Mitte der 1950er Jahre den ersten Flieger-Chronographen der Bundeswehr. Sein Name lautet 417 und seine Aufgabe ist der kompromisslose Einsatz am Handgelenk der Piloten.

I’ll be visiting Vienna this summer from the USA (in late July, ~21-25) and I’m looking at purchasing a Hanhart. I fancy a 417 ES reverse panda, probably in 39mm. Or perhaps a Mk I or II reverse panda, I like the red pushers.
I’ve also got a Valjoux 7733 watch (Roxy) where the chrono seconds doesn’t reset to noon and it just occurred to me to ask about that after looking at your site. The patina’d dial just looks so beautiful still. Vanilla’d markers. My local watchmaker seems to mostly do clocks and would not touch it. I wondered what you thought. Worth bringing it?
